Sinopsis

SINOSPSIS (corta):

Dos jóvenes acorralados y golpeados por las consecuencias de la historia reciente argentina deciden asaltar un colectivo para comprar más cocaína. El robo pasará a desastre y lo que allí quedará serán solamente los pensamientos de aquella sociedad, detenidos en el tiempo, evidenciando a eso que se está acostumbrado: la violencia cotidiana.

STORY DESCRIPTION (short):
Two teenagers decide to assault a mean of urban public transport to buy more cocaine. The passengers in the bus are representing the argentine society, with their cheerfulness and their frustrations, which are being reflected through their thoughts. The two criminals are the most punished and violent part of this society, which moreover is the consequence of the last decades in the history of the country. The robbery takes a disastrous ending and the only thing remaining will be the thought of this society. The situation seems to be caught in time, yet tiring the spectator by clearly showing the everyday life to which he is used to: The daily violence.

SINOSPSIS (larga):
Un medio de transporte urbano viaja por la autopista Panamericana. En él hay diez pasajeros de los cuales se escuchan sus pensamientos, reflexiones y problemas de la vida cotidiana. En una casilla de un barrio humilde dos adolescentes toman cocaína y cerveza, un televisor de fondo muestra imágenes simbólicas de la história argentina de los últimos años. Conversan que la policía mató a uno de los padres de ellos, que el otro no tiene porque lo abandonó de chico y que van a ir robar para comprar más cocaína.En camino uno de ellos intercede en una pelea matrimonial que vio por casualidad donde el hombre le pegaba a su mujer en el jardín de su casa. En la Panamericana suben a un colectivo cuyos pasajeros, como ellos, representan a la sociedad argentina y serán asaltados por ambos, que además representan a la consecuencia injustas de las desgarcias del país. La situación se descontrola de tal manera que tres pasajeros son asesinados a sangre fría. Un policía fuera de servicio abre fuego, Juan y Luis, responden a los disparos. La consecuencia es una catástrofe. Todo es observado por Matías de 8 años, escondido debajo de un asiento, quien mira la escena escuchando los pensamientos al mismo tiempo de los pasajeros de cuando estaban con vida, donde cada uno exponía en forma de reflexión sus problemas de la vida cotidiana. Llegándose al punto que lo único que queda de la sociedad son sus pensamientos.

STORY DESCRIPTION (long):
A public bus is travelling on the highway of the Panamericana. There are 10 passengers of whoes inner thoughts, reflexions and problems of everyday life one can listen. In a run down house of a ghettolike “barrio” two teenagers are taking cocaine, while a television-set from behind is showing symbolical images of the argentine history of the recent years. The boys are talking about their fathers - one has been killed by the police and the other has abandonded his family- and decide to purchase more cocaine. On their way one of the boys by chance becomes aware of matrimonial conflict, seeing the man beating up his wife in the front yard. Along the Panamericana passengers get on the bus. They are representing the argentine society and get assaulted by the two boys, who can be viewed as a result of the injustice and misfortunes of the country. The situation runs out of control and three passengers are assassinated cold-bloodedly. A policeman out of duty opens up the fire, Juan und Luis answer. The consequences are a catastrophy. The 8- year old boy Matías observed everything, hidden below a seat. While he is watching the scene he can be hearing the all the thoughts of the passengers when they were still alive and when they had reflected upon their daily problems. By that one is reaching the point, where the only things left of the society are their thoughts.
